At the end of 2012 iVolve was awarded the contract to supply Finland-based FQM Kevitsa Mining, with a comprehensive turnkey solution. The solution provides real-time production, operator and maintenance data to site operations for their mobile mining fleet.

“This installation is unique given the harsh working environments of down to negative 40 degrees Celsius,” iVolve CEO Kim Parascos said.

The deliberation and due diligence process by the FQM group was extremely thorough, with the group seeking to partner with a company that would provide proven equipment and software solutions. This would empower the site to make informed decisions utilising real-time data from operational equipment.

Deployment was successfully completed in January 2013.
