Developer and manufacturer of intelligent industrial wireless technologies, iVolve, recently showcased what the company has to offer at MINExpo 2012 in Las Vegas.
“Our technology solutions for mining focuses on delivering process and efficiency improvements, which directly relates to production, assets, maintenance and safety management,”
iVolve chief executive officer Kim Parascos said.
“It was great exposure to be able to able to highlight what we do at the biggest mining exhibition in the world.”
The exhibition, which takes place every four years, draws an international audience from the major mining regions in the world, with more than 1800 exhibitors in 12 exhibit halls.
“We were there as part of the Austmine Stand, and it was great to be there with an organisation that was promoting Australian mining technology companies,”
she said.
“The floor space dedicated to mining technology increased to 30 per cent this year, and for us I think it is great to be apart of such a growing sector.”
The event was also an opportunity to speak to existing and potential customers from around the world Ms Parascos said.
“It was a great opportunity and we’re looking forward to the next MINExpo.”
Meanwhile, iVolve attended the Electra Mining Expo in South Africa, which was held also held last month.
“There is significant opportunity for us to grow our presence and coverage here,”
iVolve National Sales manager Rod Tayler said.
